School starts today, so drive carefully | Crime

With Seattle schools back in session, it’s important to remember cops are out in full force enforcing school safety zones.

“If you pass a school bus, you’ll have to shell out $384,” KOMO 4’s Mike Dardis informs us. “And if you pass a vehicle that’s stopped at a crosswalk or intersection for a pedestrian, that’s $124 – 191 bucks if it causes an accident.”

He said if you’re speeding in a school zone, that will cost you $189.
